The Merry Barber - Cross Stitch Pattern

A re-charted, and quite humorous, 19th-century cross stitch design pattern of a merry-looking barber going about his business on a somewhat reluctant customer who's been made to hold a bowl.  A long-suffering dog lies beneath the chair and table on which sits a wig on its pole; a red coat hangs on the wall behind them, and the barber's tools are visible in the cupboard on the wall.

You get two PDF files! One with the pattern using symbols against black, and the other with the pattern using symbols against the underlying color.

It's all charted using the usual DMC color codes. Very occasionally, a pattern will use blended threads, but otherwise contain no advanced techniques.

Using different types of fabric will give you different sizes when finished. The measurements in the pattern assume 14ct Aida.
